Culinary Learning

The past two days have been great leaning, training,long days but,feeling good about what your doing.
I'v met some really great talented new friends. There's 3 of us that have become close, just in 2 days, we all have the same passion & love for cooking.We plan to meet for studying prior to class tests.
Our instructors/CHEF's are the best with outstanding back grounds..
Yesterday we made crab/cream cheese stuffed wontons, with a Apricot, ginger dipping sauce.YUM.. All of us ( students ) were so proud. Learning the skills of preping, called in french "Mise en Place" in our terms, getting everything you need to cook in place prior to starting your reciept.

We do have home work. The on cooking textbook must wiegh 30#, it needs to come with wheels.

We also learned, WASH,RINSE,SANTIZE. Water temp 110 degree's. I will take pictures to add to my post as we move forward.
